We have been away for two weeks now and we’ve missed out on a lot, so let us update you and keep you on the loop.

Our late fellow student Sandile Ndlovu who was attacked in one of the lecture halls at Steve biko was put to rest during the Spring break on 28 September at his hometown in Mpumalanga.

DUT students went out in their numbers to pay tribute.

Classes resumed on 01 October 2019, even though there was a strike suspected everything was in order and normal.

On sad news, we have received news on the passing of two DUT students last week. Business Administration student Phiweyinkosi Buthelezi’s body was found near the swimming pool at the Durban beachfront on Sunday morning.

Mthuthuzeli Sigaba who passed on after a criminal incident at a relative’s house.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Phiweyinkosi and Mthuthuzeli.
