SA happy with their QUEEN!

The 61st Miss SA Zozibini Tunzi from the Eastern Cape stole the hearts of many as she took the Miss SA title!

The pageant took place on Friday 9 August at the Sun Arena Time Square in Pretoria.

For the first time ever, the pageant had a live stream that could be watched from any part if the world.

Zozibini had already stolen people’s hearts before she was crowned when some on Twitter has already spotted her as one of their favorites.

The 25 year-old continued to show how fierce she is during the he top 5 Q&A round when one of the judges Anele Mdoda asked: through all the darkness South African women face, what reason do we have to keep smiling?

Zozibini answered “We have nothing to smile about and it is not up to women but the perpetrators to start doing better and treat women how they deserve to be treated.”

This then saw her move to the top 2 with runner up Sasha Lee Olivier where she took the tittle. While others were impressed by how she wore her natural hair, some were impressed by her perseverance as this was her second time running for Miss SA.

The PR graduate has been trending since with TV and radio interviews and her face all over social media and owning front pages on Newspapers.
