Have you always wondered how one is able to communicate using their hands and facial expressions? Have you always found it fascinating?

Well, the good news is that you can now be able to learn sign language. For free!

The Disability rights unit is giving all students and staff an opportunity to enrol in their sign language classes.

This opportunity will be offered across the Durban and Pietermaritzburg campuses, which means it is close to your campus.

The classes will run every Saturday for 5 consecutive weeks, and doesn’t clash with your weekly time table.

Gugu Sacolo from the Disability Rights Unit says that the starting date hasn’t been confirmed.

“Once we have the numbers then next semester we will advise them on the date,” said Sacolo.

The venue will be communicated once the numbers have been finalised.

Interested? You have until Friday the 14 of June to book your space.
