EFFSC aren’t making any promises

“We are not making any promises, we are making commitments because promises collapse”

This is what the Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command at Durban University of Technology had to say after their candidates became the most voted in the 2018/19 Student Representative Council elections with over 15 000 votes.

The fighters are halting celebrations until the IEC confirms that these elections are uncontested , it is only then when official results will be released.

“This is the generation of economic freedom,” echoes the fighters after explaining how black students cannot be led by people who don’t understand the theory of black lives, black struggles and black consciousness.

The agenda of pushing economic emancipation is the EFF’s foremost duty when they take up office, as well eliminating fundamental struggles faced by students.

Former Secretary General Sfezo Gwala claims that , “members of the EFFSC cannot be captured with money as their duty goes furtherer than momentary wealth.”

If all goes accordingly, the SRC inauguration will take place on 14 September 2018.
