This year’s event is much different from other events that the DUT HIV/AIDS Centre has hosted before as this one includes a lot of entertainment. This year they have no panellists but highly profiled speakers to address students regarding HIV/AIDS issues. Only one hour for speeches then the rest five hours are for entertainment.

Speakers will include DUT Principal Prof Ahmed Bawa, MEC of Health in KwaZulu Natal Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo and Director of Housing Department, Dr Nassengo.

Mr Oziel Mdletshe from DUT HIV/AIDS Centre said that they want to include more students to the event that is why they bring a lot of entertainment.

“I urge students to partake to the event, we have a lot of entertainment and we call it edu-tainment. Any student who want to perform on Friday must come, but the songs or poems they have must speak to the theme of the day,” said Mdletshe.

The event will start at 12:00 am and is expected to end at 18:00 pm.
