DUT Elections Update.

Voting has been rescheduled at the Durban University of Technology and students seem unfazed by the prior glitches, they have gone in numbers to the ballot box.

The voting process wasn’t complete as the results didn’t come out on the 1st of September and a consensus was reached to have students re-vote. Students who voted are encouraged to take to the polls again, and those who missed it get a chance to select their leaders at the institution.

In order to vote you need to go to a voting station relevant to you, different faculties vote in their respective campuses. The voting commences from 09h00 a.m. to 18h00 in all campuses. The faculty of Arts and Design will be an exception and students can vote at Brickfield campus from 09h00 to 13h00 and at the ML Sultan campus from 14h00, this will happen on the 30th of August.

Voting stations have been set up in three residences from 19h00 to 21h00, starting today at Alpine residence, tomorrow at sterling and on Wednesday, Rosean residents can vote.
